INTRODUCTORY CLASS (4-5 YEAR OLD)

SUMMER REGISTRATION FORM

 

This program provides an introduction to music for 4-5 year old children. Classes focus on exploring the world through music making in a small group setting (class size 6-9).

Activities:

  • Rhythm work through movement, chants, singing, and percussion instruments
  • Hands on exploration of many acoustic instruments (Violin, Bass, Trumpet, Trombone, Dulcimer, etc.)
  • Many folk dances and musical games
  • Movement in response to musical cues (high/low, loud/soft, short/long, etc.)
  • Singing, chanting, and exploring the voice
  • Listening to sounds of nature and of home, and to music and instruments from around the world

Cost:

Tuition: $170/Summer
Materials fees: $50 (includes 4 instruments for home use)

Times & Dates:

Saturdays 11:15-12:00
Classes meet weekly, from May 22 through July 1.

$50 materials fee due immediately to reserve space. Tuition ($170) due at the first lesson.
